Armoured Vehicle "Kubuś" Warsaw Uprising 1944

Limited Edition

Description

KUBUŚ was an armoured vehicle of Polish construction. It was built in 13 days, constructed on the chassis of a truck – Chevrolet, model 157. During the Warsaw Uprising, it took part in the attack on the Warsaw University in 1944, together with ‘Jaś’ carrier (later renamed into ‘Szary Wilk’ – ‘Grey Wolf’). The vehicle has been restored after the war and can be now seen in the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. There is also a full-scale replica built for the Warsaw Uprising Museum, however, it’s not in the perfect condition and frequently takes part in open-air fests and reenactment shows.

The block replica of ‘Kubuś’ made by COBI has operable trapdoor at the top of the vehicle. There are also three figures, including those of Polish insurgents.

  • 3 figures: German infantry soldier, Figures of the Home Army officer and soldier
