The V2 rocket was one of the most famous wonder weapons (German: “Wunderwaffe”) of the Second World War. This design still fascinates many history and World War II enthusiasts. The legendary design was so iconic that COBI could not resist the ever-increasing requests for this set. Here is the legendary V2 rocket in 1:35 scale in the Limited Edition version enriched with additional blocks, elements and figures. The rocket itself has removable covers, under which there is a recreated interior: a powerful rocket engine and a warhead with an explosive charge.

V-2 ballistic missiles (Vergeltungswaffe 2) were the world's first long-range ballistic missiles. They were developed by Nazi Germany during World War II and their main designer was Wernher von Braun. The V-2s were used by the Germans mainly to attack London and other Allied cities from 1944. The V-2 rockets had a range of around 300 km and could carry a payload of around 1 ton. They were a pioneer in rocket technology, using liquid-fueled engines. After launch, the rocket would rise into space and then fall back to its target at an incredible speed, making it virtually impossible to intercept. The V-2 was the forerunner of modern ballistic missiles and had a significant impact on the development of space technology after the war.
