Description

The early version of the most famous German heavy tank Tiger I in winter camouflage is something that block modelers and armor enthusiasts have been waiting for for a long time! The detailed LIMITED EDITION model was designed in a scale of 1:28 using 1,330 elements and is 31.5cm long. This model has the features of an early version of the Tiger. When building the set you can install an improvised ammunition basket taken from the Panzer III tank or a more widely known version from standard production! Optionally, you can install a "Snorkel" on the vehicle, which was used in real tanks to overcome water obstacles. You can also place the Maybach HL 210 engine block model under the service flap or on a special signed stand!

The model offers many construction and play features, as well! Noteworthy are the slightly whitened wheels, which look very attractive in combination with the winter camouflage. The removable turret covers the interior of the vehicle. There is a tactical number "123" on the turret. The functionalities of the model include a removable block replica of the engine, working tracks, a cannon that can be moved up and down and a rotating turret. Figures can also be placed in the opening hatches. The set includes a detailed figure of the vehicle commander, who is equipped with headphones and binoculars. The soldier from the Eastern Front is equipped with a winter uniform, an ushanka cap interchangeable with a helmet and a captured Soviet PPSz submachine gun. A very attractive addition to the Limited Edition are the signposts pointing to Leningrad and Berlin. You can display them on a shelf or use them to build dioramas or scenes!

This Limited Edition also includes a black, laser-engraved plate with the set name, scale and individual set number. Exactly the same set number can be found on the paper certificate singed by the CEO of COBI.

Tiger I was a German heavy tank from World War II. It was one of the most powerful armored vehicles of its era. Designed by Henschel in the 1930s, it entered production in 1942. The Tiger I was known for its powerful armament, which included an 88mm KwK 36 gun, and strong armor providing excellent protection. Despite initial technical difficulties and high production costs the Tiger quickly developed an outstanding reputation on the battlefield, where its presence was always a fearsome presence! Ultimately, about 1,350 units of this tank were produced during the war.
