In 1965, the German Democratic Republic launched a mass production of the new model Trabanta 601 in the combi version. It was given the name "Universal".

This new model form COBI is constructed in 1:35 scale and composed of 100% COBI blocks. It’s faithfully reproduced with streamlined shapes of the original Trabant 601 and allows for many modifications. It is perfect for a collector's shelf as well as for playing.
