The only one in the world a copy of Tiger I (side number 131). This vehicle was captured by soldiers of the 48th Royal Tank Regiment (48 RTR, A Squadron, 4 Troop) in Djebel Djaffa on 21 April 1943 in the final month of the campaign in Tunisia ( Africa). It is the first Tiger captured by British and American troops intact. It was brought by the Germans to Tunisia between 22 March and 16 April 1943 and introduced to fight the 48th Royal Tank Regiment near Medjez-el-Bab on 21 April 1943.
It destroyed two Churchill, but a six-pound gun shot damaged the turret and wounded the commander. The crew had to leave the tank to save their lives. Damage is still visible in the yoke and face plates. Completely destroyed components were replaced with parts from other tanks. In October 1943, the vehicle was sent to England.
