The Panzer II was a German light tank introduced into service in the mid-1930s. It was mainly used for reconnaissance and infantry support. The Panzer IIs were armed with a 20mm cannon and an MG 34 machine gun, making them effective against lightly armored vehicles and infantry. The Panzer II was used during the early campaigns of World War II, including Poland (1939), France (1940) and the early war on the Eastern Front. It is from this first campaign that the model is presented. The block model is an early version of the Ausf. B

The Limited Edition set consisting of 894 elements includes:
