Description

The Pz.Kpfw. VI ""Tiger"" with the side number 114, which is located in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France, is one of the most important exhibits of this museum. Tiger tanks were some of the most famous and dangerous armored machines used by Germany during World War II. They became famous for their powerful armament, especially the 88mm gun and their thick armored shielding. This particular specimen, marked with the number 114, is one of the few preserved in the world, which makes it extremely valuable both historically and technologically. This tank took part in the fighting and was captured by the Allies. After repairs, it began service in the French army under the name "Bretagne". It is currently undergoing renovation and will soon return to the exhibition and will be used during dynamic field shows!

The detailed model was designed in 1:35 scale using 870 elements and is 25cm long. Under the service flap you will find a removable block model of the Maybach HL 210 engine! The model offers many options for construction and play! You can choose whether your vehicle has German or French markings (Bretagne).

The turret has the tactical number "114". The model's functionalities include a removable block replica of the engine, working tracks, a cannon that can be moved up and down and a rotating turret. Figures can be placed in the opening hatches. The set also includes detailed figures of German and French tankers. The German tanker is dressed in a special camouflage suit, and the Frenchman in a classic tank suit with a beret. Both figures have attractive accessories, such as binoculars, a wrench and a canister.

The Tiger I is a German heavy tank from World War II. It was one of the most powerful armored vehicles of its era. Designed by Henschel since the 1930s, it went into production in 1942. The Tiger I was known for its powerful armament, which consisted of an 88mm KwK 36 gun and strong armor providing excellent protection. Despite initial technical difficulties and high production costs, the Tiger quickly developed a great reputation on the battlefield, where its presence always inspired fear! Eventually, around 1,350 units of this tank were produced.
